The judges gave the Better Bus Area-funded project the runner-up prize in the Travel Information & Marketing category, in recognition of the fact that the transformation of signage and information in the city centre had boosted confidence in the bus network for residents and visitors alike.

FWT has also strengthened its relationship with Norfolk County Council this month, having been awarded a three-year contract to supply and update bus information for all stops across the county with timetable displays.

This work will draw on Norfolk’s pioneering work in the use of TransXChange data for all services to ensure consistent and accurate information for all services, regardless of operator, and follows on from FWT’s information and wayfinding expertise commissioned by NCC in Norwich city centre and Great Yarmouth.
